Morning at Silent Waters
Daybreak is a wonderful time to walk along the Turkey Trot Trail and pause by the Silent Waters at the boat launch or from the bridge. The geese are settled at one end of the lake, an occasional critter plops into the water or scurries up the bank, and the glow of the emerging sun colors the far shore. Even the moon sits up there, letting you know that the nicer things in the world are still around.
