1. Attend a work party
|"I said 'work party! WORK party!!!'"|
Work Parties are held the 2nd and 4th Saturday morning of the month, year round unless there is deep snow. Work parties are announced on this blog under the events tab (right margin) and also by an email list maintained by Richard Skudlarek, (email@example.com). Just send him an email at asking to be added to the list. The work parties start some time between 8:00 and 9:00 depending on the season (early starts in the summer). Ideal for Community Service hours since there will be someone on hand who can sign your form.
2. Adopt a trail
This is an informal thing. If you have a favorite trail, prune back branches that are growing into the trail and pick up litter as necessary.
3. Plan an independent project
See our Wish List. Eagle Scout projects are a great example of an independent project.
