The Shelton Trails Committee is an official subcommittee of the Shelton Conservation Commission, established in the mid-1990's to create and maintain hiking trails on City open space.
Bill Dyer, Chair
Staff: Teresa Gallagher, Natural Resource Manager
The Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm in Room 303 of City Hall. All meetings are open to the public. See the agendas and minutes.
Work parties are typically held the 2nd and 4th Saturday morning of the month, year-round. These work parties are announced in the "Events" section of this blog (right margin) and via the Work Party Email List. To have your name added to the list, email Val Gosset at email@example.com. High School students can use these hours to fulfill the High School's requirement of ten hours of community service. A member of the Trails Committee will be able to sign the High School's form on the spot.
