Trail Conditions

SHELTON LAKES TRAIL SYSTEM: 

Rec Path:  Snowy 2-5-14 (4 miles).

Turkey Trot Trail (white blaze):  Snowy 2-5-14.

Oak Valley Trail (white blaze): Snowy 2-5-14 Clear but brushy, work party need in the Spring 2014.

Paugussett Extension (blue blaze): Snowy 2-5-14  Open, but a neighbor at Mayflower Lane keeps dumping yard waste right in the trail. There will be two June 2013 work party to clear brush at road crossings.

Nells Rock Trail (white blaze): Snowy 2-5-14 - Good for cross country sking.

Dog Paw Path (paw print blaze): Snowy 2-5-14.  

Flower Path (flower blaze): Snowy 2-5-14.

OTHER CITY-MAINTAINED TRAILS

Boehm Pond Trails: Snowy 2-5-14.  Brushy at Winthrop Woods Road entrances - trails cleared Nov. 2013.

Gristmill Trail:  Snowy and Picturesque 2-13-14. http://sheltontrails.blogspot.com/2014/02/far-mill-river-during-noreaster.html .Two small logs need to be cut; they can be stepped over.

Birchbank Trail:  Snowy 2-5-14. 

Bluff Walk:  Snowy 2-5-14.  Trails cleared Nov. 2013.
